Patricia Smuga
Senior Accountant – Audit
Patricia brings an extensive and broad base of experiences to the firm. Born in Romania, raised in Ontario and having spent most of her early adulthood living abroad and completing medical school in Europe, she’s no stranger to adaptation in a diversity of cultures and lifestyles. A retired professional chess player with an education rooted in math and science, her creative interests and talents have once led her to start an animal sanctuary and publish a local magazine for women.
Within the firm, Patricia works closely on a variety of audits with our many non-for-profit organizations. She focuses on identifying key audit risks and significant audit issues to deliver client services beyond the required audit and assist clients in achieving organizational goals.
When she’s not busy pursuing her CPA designation, her favourite role is being a mom to her three children and dog Tsuga.
